What are
the steps to get certified Certification within the HP Certification Program (HPCP) for ProCurve Networking can be achieved by following these easy
steps.
Payment
policy
All ProCurve Technical Training class rates are $650.00 per
day (excluding ASE BootCamp @750.00 per day) beginning March 1, 2008.Training rates for Partners, Resellers and Distributors are $500.00 per day. All
classes must be paid in full BEFORE the start of class. Versatile Training &
Events Group (VTEG), ProCurve 's authorized training vendor in the Americas,
accepts credit card payments, purchase orders, government purchase order forms,
company checks and ProCurve authorized training vouchers when appropriate.
Credit
card payments VTEG accepts credit card payments for training. After
registering online, be prepared to follow up via email or phone:
- Indicate card type: VISA,
Master Card, or American Express
- Provide the cardholder's name
as indicated on the card.
- Provide the credit card number
and expiration date.
Purchase
order payments VTEG must receive a copy of your company or government
purchase order *at least 14 days before* the start of class.
- Ensure your purchase order
includes:
- Purchase order number - Class information: course names,
dates and locations - Student registration information: student names,
company names - Billing contact information: name, company, address and
phone number - Total payment amount - VTEG must be listed as the vendor
- Fax a copy of the purchase

Company check
payments All company checks must be provided to VTEG upon registration or
*at least 14 days before* the start of class.

Registering
multiple students Each student must have an individual online profile to
register for ProCurve training. If you would like to register multiple students
(5 or more) for a class, contact VTEG, ProCurve 's authorized training vendor
for assistance at
info@procurvetraining.com or call, toll free, 877-229-6186.
Training
prerequisites Students are responsible for ensuring they have the proper
prerequisite knowledge and skills before attending a course. All prerequisites
are listed in the individual course descriptions.
Instruction
hours For most ProCurve product training, classes begin at 8:30 am and
continue until 5:00 pm unless otherwise indicated by the instructor. Typically,
there is a 45-minute lunch break, as well as a 15-minute break mid-morning and
again mid-afternoon. Continental breakfast, lunch and mid-afternoon snacks are
provided. Class registration confirmation notices and email reminders provide
students with more specific information about each class.
Class confirmation
notifications A confirmation notice, with information on the date, time,
and location of your class, will be emailed to you upon receipt of your
registration and payment information. VTEG's (ProCurve 's authorized training
vendor in the Americas) cancellation policy is also explained in the
confirmation notice.
Student
cancellation policy Class cancellations are accepted without penalty up
to 14 days or ten (10) business days before the start of the class.
Cancellations with less than 10 business days' notice are subject to a
$650.00 cancellation fee. Students who do not cancel
their registration and do not show up for training are billed at the full rate
of $650/day for all classes registered.
ProCurve training class
changes or cancellations VTEG, ProCurve 's authorized training vendor for
the Americas, reserves the right to change course schedules, modify course
content, and cancel courses when necessary. We reserve the right to cancel a
class up to 14 days in advance of the start date of the class if it does not
meet minimum attendance requirements. A minimum of eight (8) students are
required to hold a class. If a class is cancelled due to not meeting minimum
attendance requirements, no charges are incurred by the students. If a course is
canceled, VTEG will make every effort to notify students at least 5 business
days before the class start date. ProCurve or VTEG is not responsible for any
associated student travel arrangements.
Inclement
Weather VTEG reserves the right to cancel classes due to inclement
weather. In case of inclement weather, contact us at 877-229-6186. Provided the
facility where the training is being held is open, classes will be held and our
no-show policy (as pointed out in the "Student cancellation policy") will be
enforced if you do not attend.
Onsite
training On-site training can be an efficient, cost-effective method to
train multiple individuals from the same organization. VTEG, ProCurve 's
authorized Americas training vendor, will deliver training classes at your
location, provided the appropriate training environment can be made available.

Customized
courses VTEG, ProCurve 's authorized Americas training vendor, can
develop courses specifically to meet your organization's unique education and
